The proposal of the work Arctic Polar Circle is to define a space in relation to its observer, placing him in the center of the “geographical/spatial” axis in order to better visualize the work.
How its focused inward, delimits the radius of your domain through the four corners of a square sectioned by a sphere, where the draw of the circle is completed only in the spectator imagination. Such relationships are the reflection of what men creates in relation this his surrounding, because how to delimit the passage of the line of the pole unless through mathematical calculation that tell us that “here is the line that divides de pole”? The space created is abstract in nature and poetry in its essence.

Subjectivity shown also in the images that cheats the spectator eyes, imitating the arctic landscape with its icebergs, in photographical tricks and manipulation of digital images – the images were taken from the ice under the sink in my studio – I create, by this way, polar landscapes without ever having stepped in such latitudes. My references are the great explorations from XIX century, when the last unknown places of the planet were the hardest to reach, and its images inhabited only the imagination of those late romantics.
When you enter the work to find out what is shown, we place ourselves at the zero point of this small planet. Ready to discover by (through) the rotation of our own bodies the meaning of what we see, the award-winning curiosity in small doses of “untruths”, where we cost to believe that reality can be something as simple as what we see. For everything is there, gaping to the eyes, the wires (strings) (threads), the cables that suspend the work, the screws. All the “world engine” is displayed and set, as said Italo Calvino: THE GEOMETRIC PLACE OF THE I.

A proposta da obra Círculo Polar Ártico é definir um espaço em relação a seu observador, colocando-o no centro do eixo "geográfico/espacial" para poder visualizar melhor o trabalho.
Como é voltada para dentro, delimita o raio de seu domínio através dos 4 cantos de um quadrado seccionados por uma esfera, onde o desenho do círculo é competado apenas na imaginação do observador. Tais relações são o reflexo daquilo que o homem cria em relação ao seu entorno, pois como delimitar passagem da linha dos pólos a não ser através de cálculos matemáticos que nos falam que "aqui passa a linha que divide o pólo"? O espaço criado é em abstrato em sua natureza e poesia em sua essência.

Subjetividade mostrada também nas imagens que enganam os olhos do observador, imitando a paisagem do ártico com seus icebergs, em trucagens de fotografia e manipulação de imagem digital - as imagens foram tiradas de gelo sobre a pia de meu atelier - Crio assim paisagens polares sem nunca ter pisado em tais latitudes. Minha referência são as grandes explorações so século XIX, onde os últimos lugares desconhecidos do planeta eram os mais difíceis de se chegar, e suas imagens habitavam somente a imaginação daqueles românticos tardios.
Quando se adentra a obra para descobrir o que é mostrado, colocamo-nos no ponto zero deste pequeno planeta, Prontos para descobrir através da rotação de nossos próprios corpos o sentido daquilo que vemos, a curiosidade premiada em pequenas doses de "inverdades", onde custamos a crer que a realidade pode ser algo tão simples quanto o que vemos. Pois tudo está ali, escancarado aos olhos, os fios, os cabos que suspendem a obra, os parafusos. Todo o "engenho do mundo" fica à mostra e define, como disse Italo Calvino: O LUGAR GEOMETRICO DO EU.
